Book Review: Forgotten God by Francis Chan

Forgotten God, Francis Chan, Holy Spirit, book reviewYou will always be challenged by Francis Chan. Forgotten God, in some ways, is very basic, but in other ways Francis brings a fresh energy to the church as a whole and a challenge to get back to doing things as the Holy Spirit leads.

I loved the book. Francis has a humility about him that I believe God uses to speak to others. When you read his books or watch his videos, you get the sense that there is less of Francis Chan and more of the Holy Spirit shining through him.

This book will refresh your understand of the Holy Spirit or help you learn how the Holy Spirit does His work in your heart if you are new to the concept. For me, it reinforced what I’ve been learning from the Holy Spirit recently and how He has been growing my faith and confidence in God’s plans for our lives.
